Moving heavy Radios on the Bench

As far as working on stuff I have one of the round boards with a lazy susan mounted under it. I can spin printers and other heavy things really easy. You can get them at MCM electronics, I think thats where I got mine .

A bit of trivia on moving stuff. A trick of car guys was to take two pieces of metal and squirt some oil between the two pieces. Then place them under the front wheel. Do a setup like that to both sides and if you are working on the brakes or something the wheels will turn really easy.

I found a Jig Saw and started to clean it up and because it was so heavy (48#) that I didn't want to scratch my kitchen counter-top. I had previously purchased a nylon cutting board and set it on that. I went to move the saw around and was surprised how easy it was to rotate and slide across the counter-top.

This is a good application for moving chassis around to work on.
