Well done. Im' kinda stuck with my New Samsung for now, but I did reinstall the CD after deleting the Program, so now it works and I have it connected through my Wi-Fi. Within just a second or two it now prints. So I am a happy Camper (err I mean Computerist).LOL

Cliff.
Tues - Friday 12:30-4 Sat (9-12 IIRC): Washington State Surplus by the Olympia airport.
I got 2 HP Laser Jet printers for $5.00 ea.WITH DUPLEXERS!!!!!
The first one I tried was working, and had plenty of toner in its cart.
So this is the best deal around.
Its quite common for them to put printers on sale, ranging from 5 bux to 75.00 for a laser color printer.
Considering the lifespan of these printers. its a killer deal. They typically good up for ( literally) millions of copies.

I had some LJ2's and a few LJ4's I gave like 10.00 ea for. They held up for many years. IIRC my LJ2 had like 3 million copies on it before the pick up rollers needed replacement again. It was cheaper to just replace the printer with another ten buck unit than to buy more rollers

sitn Can you post what toner company you use? Web link?
I did get A Samsung SCX-3405W the toner cartridges are $69 at Walmart and will print 1500pages. I hooked it up via WiFi and its not printing right away but takes several minutes to start.

I have a Brother DCP-7065DN black laser printer, I've had for a couple of years, and use the toner from a company in CA. I just pour it in and reset the gears and go. I just recently bought a new roller from them too. They have drums, etc. All supplies are reasonably priced and work fine for me. I also have a Epson and the same applies also.

I 've had my Brother laser printer model DCP-7040 about three years now and am still thrilled with it. Ive changed the toner cartridge (TN-360) twice and the drum once. Best buy for these essentials is Amazon.com, who even have free shipping (items over $25); worst buy (in my area) is Staples, who charge full MSRP, which is more than twice as much as at Amazon.

Because of my two online manuals for my transistor test equipment I've decided to get a laser printer,to make hard copy manuals.

I have also had in the past a graphics program that allowed one to reposition, cleanup and reproduce pages. I think it was Photoshop essentials, but havn't found my copy so I have to go on the web. I know that IRFAN is pretty good and so is Picasa. I want to take the online manuals, clean them up and get a laser printer, because I want hard copies. They are easy to read and less eye fatigue for me.

I was looking at WalMart and the have 2 B/W printers. One is a brother and the other is a Lexmark???? the brother cartridge is $62 and will print a claimed 1200 pages before refill. The other is $43 and makes the claim of 1500 pages. I have may reversed which is which.

But after buying a Kodak inkjet with its claim of low cost ink and finding out it will only print out 20-50 pages per cartridge I was robbed!!!!!
