Just an FYI here......... Jack from the Transistor Museum has confirmed for me that the gold transistors are indeed manufactured by Transitron. Very Happy

Nice find. I've been looking for an early example of the CK-722 but have had no luck. That's a nice haul.

I may have a lead as to the gold transistors. I was on the transistor museum site earlier today and found a link to Transitron Semiconductors. This company was right next to my home town of Malden Mass., and I remember it well.

Their add on this page caught my eye.......................

The "T" in their add looks identical to the "T" on the transistors. I'm gonna look further into this one. I gotta say, I'm kinda like a kid at Christmas with these latest finds here. Very Happy  Very Happy

Use your B&K Transistor tester to find out. If they are what is claimed, the CK 722 ones are sought after and could be well worth it. I do remember seeing those with a blue body so they probably are authentic.

Hi all,

Had a chance to get to the local ham flea market a week ago Saturday. Managed to pick up a few items of important stuff I really need.Very Happy

Picked up 2 parts cabinets with assorted new and used goodies in them for $25

Went through them over the weekend and did a heck of a lot better than I imagined....................

Item 1...........

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

The only problem is these have no marks whatsoever on them, so I'm wondering if they actually are what's marked on the envelope.

Item 2.........

A plastic tube with Northern electric 2N24 transistors in them

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

Item 3.........

Four unknown transistors.....

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

The only marking on them is the FG1 on top of the embossed T

Item 4........

Some assorted germanium transistors.......

I still have some drawers to go through yet. Smile
