I am guessing onlyRolling Eyes

It looks like additional filtering (by-pass) to supply by voltage divider( R17-R14) to tubes 6k7-6k8 AVC? That voltage could range from 78v to 180vdc.
After reviewing several like RCA Schematics.
However I don't claim to know.
A clearer Schematic is in Bietmans Vol. # 1 (1926-1938 page 178). But all voltages are also missing.
Look up the nominal operating voltages in a tube manual for 6k7 and 6k8, that should get you in the ball park.

Like I said, ". . .no indication. . .in the RCA service data." Also, so far no one has answered the other part of my post, what is the purpose of C.41?

I checked the original RCA factory service manual and the voltages aren't listed there either.

Will someone please look at the schematic diagram for RCA model 97K (Rider 10-91) and tell me the purpose of electrolytic capacitor C.41 and if replacing what the working voltage should be (no indication on the original part nor stated in the RCA service data). Thanks. By the way, this is not a 'quiz' or a trick question.
