 Pioneer SX737 No FM- and Fix!

I reluctantly agreed to work on this venerable old Pioneer SX737 stereo for a friend.
 Problem was NO FM.
Am worked fine. Also missing was any indication of tuning meter movement.
 B+ checked OK right at 13V
 However the LA1137 that handled most of the FM processing had all voltages except the power supply way off.
  I replaced the LA1137. problem solved.

So did you tell him he had to give you an antique radio as payment for you expertise ?
