Subject: easy way to check if oscillator is working May 24th 2016, 6:09 pm
People may or may not know this little trick to see if the oscillator is working. Using a transistor radio . Turn the transistor radio on and set it next to the antenna of the radio in question . Make sure the transistor radio is off station . Now turn the other radio and begin tunning it thru the frequencies. If the oscillator is working you should hear a high pitch squeal at some point in the transistor radio . If not then you know you have a problem in the converter/oscillator stage. I hope someone can use this.
