PostSubject: ERI Auction in Olympia- Review & Rated.   2016-07-31, 7:45 pm

Well,
I found out that ERI in Olympia was having an auction to off their entire stock and fixtures last week. Crying or Very sad
I drug myself out of my sick bed, and looked it all over.

A company called Bid  Ventures out of Tumwater WA handled the auction.
(I bid on and won most of what I wanted.)

The auction co. was VERY helpful on the phone, as their software is a bit confusing, and all bids needed to be placed online.

So on a scale of 1-5 they rate a 5++ for service and helpfulness. They even helped pack and haul the stuff out to my truck!!!! Shocked Cool

Yes, I would happily deal with this company again.

Sadly I bid a fond farewell to ERI,- Ron, Kathy, Bill, Steve, & Marv.

Their stores passing ends the era of a local, REAL electronics parts store in the area. Now its all mail order, or go to the Seattle or Portland areas. (And some of the guys thought I was crazy, & wondered why I squirreled away parts. I saw it coming 15 years back!)
