I have owned a Few Zenith  console radios , but I have found that the quality of the workmanship
with the wood is not as nice as most of the Rogers , Marconi and Deforest Crosley radios.
They used a solid wood in a lot of their radios.
Most others will agree, at least that is what they tell me.

JDelightful. That's impressive, always thought Zeniths were top of the line, but this sure open my eyes to what others deny, look to performance, and craftmenship. Good job on your patience and restoration skills.
In one word- WOW!
Can you post a picture! Here?

One of my favorite clarinet pieces.

It took about five years from the time I bought this radio to get it in this condition.
At the time it did not have a power supply, so I bought another one with the power supply.
As a result I now have two of them, but I am needing a power supply and a clock.
The clock can be set to turn the radio on and off.
 Quite a thing in 1935
I have completely stripped and redone the cabinet in lacquer. I have replaced all the capacitors, and cleaned all the pots .
Now it works very well and it sits in my dining room.
It is the best radio that rogers made in 1935. It has a chrome chassis and a chrome speaker enclosure.
There is not another radio that I own that can compare with this one, and I doubt I will ever find one that I like as much.
 Enjoy the video.
