 Using a TV-7 Tube Database & Spreadsheet

Found a spreadsheet on the web and downloaded it. then I did a click and drag to select cells. then did a copy.
I opened up Open Office and selected Calc, open up new and did a paste.

Then I did an open new Base.

I then did an export from Calc into Base

Yipee!

It's a little more cumbersome than MS Access but Hey its Free!!!! and faster than manual looking at tiny print & Saves having to get out the data from paper booklet bounce

By the way, Open office says you Have to use Calc and then you can use Base. But you will actually be modifying Calc at the same time. (I guess it's that way for downloading existing data into Calc, must be there is no way to do a direct download into Base unless you already Have an existing database file.)

Never did learn Ham Abbreviations. So I must Be ORH = Old Retired Fart err Ham  Very Happy
