Well, you can use the cardboard 6 pk. holders for something really cool- Holding those cans of spray chemicals, paint, etc.
The cans fit nicely into the holder.

Its easy to tote around- and is great for organizing. They are free with your purchase.

I use mine for chemicals, paint, brake & window cleaner, and even for small gardening tools.
(One heck of a lot easier to carry than an armload of cans too)  Even small cans of brush on paint fit them.

Oh, and they will to some extent, protect some of the large tubes you don't have boxes for also.

I am sure you folks can add to this list too

The only issue with those are flammibility. When working with hazmat metal containers are required in industry settings. Flam lockers are $$$$$$$. Metal file cabinets are a much cheaper alternative.

Remember the old wooden soda pop 24 bottle crates? If you could find those!!
A metal toolbox tray could work. I am using one, but have more spray cans, tubes of glue, spray WD 40, gold mist spay, glues and no place to organize them.
So most of them sit in the old metal paint buckets. (New ones are plastic).

Yup I understand the old paint locker thing, but OSHA don't live here.
