HP 5385 Frequency Counter. Battery? Empty
PostSubject: HP 5385 Frequency Counter. Battery?   HP 5385 Frequency Counter. Battery? I_icon_minitimeMarch 12th 2018, 9:04 pm

I picked up this counter at the Puyallup Ham Fest Saturday. ( Mike and Key Club of Tacoma Sponsor)
I went on line to find the Manual, It gives the part Number but not the specs.
I believe its a lead acid battery. but that was by another forum site.
No replacement information in the manual.

Does anyone have one that they can share the info details of amp-Hour, Dimensions?
I Do have the Battery pack assembly (circuit Card) but not hooked up.
Here's the Battery info:
Ref designation: A3
HP Part # 05384-60003
MFG. Code: 28480 (HP MFG)6 Volt B1
There is a test for Serviceability. Its for 4 Hours and not to drop below 5.9 volts and the Load is a 6 OHM 20 Watt Resistor. So I am thinking Its at least 4 Amp Hour?
Its between the main board and under the Battery Pack Board. I don't know if it has an enclosure or not?
