I found a link to a
"Handbook of Russian domestic Germanium transistors"
on audiokarma, if you open it with a google browser it will translate most info.

You will have to select through it to find information, but it's a fairly good selection. I am trying to make a local copy of the partially translated datasheets in case that link to the Russian server goes byebye.

Cross reference handbooks from ECG-Sylvania, NTE and RCA SK line are helpful to determine characteristics.

The older editions will have more Germanium substitutions too.

I have moved somewhat from tube radios to transistor types ans have recently picked up 4 Zenith Transoceanic models.
While I am able to select general replacement devices on my own, I am hoping someone has already done the work and is
willing to share their results. Germanium devices of say the 2N types, being scarce, and Russian types being more plentiful,
I am hoping to find a list suitable as radio replacement, namely RF/Oscillator, IF, Audio Signal and Audio power. I would love
to build a stock for ready use. Thanks in advance!...BTW I am a recent member, thanks for the add!!
