RCA probably would have used the same system, because this radio is the same as the RCA model 9K-1. Yes I do refinish Canadian radios.. there are not a lot of US radio up here. Although I do get the odd Zenith. I like the Canadian radios,except when I have to source out a 6F7M tube for a Rogers.
The quality of the wood , and workmanship is very good on these radios. Dan in Calgary

Nice work!
I think it was RCA who used the same linkage in the dial.
Also, Are you the same who does up Canadian Consoles so nice...
I admire all the marquetry on those sets. The refinishing really brings out the beautiful work...
