The one I write about is a particular type offered on Ebay, that uses "luer lock" syringe type needles.  The needles are available in a wide variety of lengths and diameters, interchangeable to suit the purpose or to change a damaged needle.  I currently use these for isopropyl alcohol, flux and oil (Mobil 1).
