Yes. This is a beauty. Thank you Dan.

Cliff It does have a phono jack.

Do you guys know anyone in Cleveland Ohio that may be available to help out? I was thinking about getting some books or manuals from the library when they re-open. But I don`t have any fancy equipment.

I am happy to be a member. Thank you.

There is an RCA Phono Jack on the rear of the chassis, so you can use adapters, there are RCA to many other varieties, of male or female receptacle adapters.

It is good that you decided to restore the radio.
A phone jack can be installed [if it does not have one]
and you can play your own music through the radios amplifier.
The cabinet is in good condition , so all you have to do is the chassis.
  Good luck

Good Morning Cliff,

Thank  you so much! You are very knowledgeable in this area. That seems like a lot of work. So I will scrap that idea and shift to getting this radio up and running. I guess I need to focus on the capacitors as you mentioned earlier. I stuck a couple of pics in.

The simplest method would to mount a rocker switch (115v) a couple of LED's (white or amber) and attach them to the same positions as the original pilot lamps. You would have to get small DC power supply and wire it to the rocker switch. (or you could put a toggle switch instead) mount the switch on the back side of the shelf either by drilling a hole or using a glue gun or epoxy.

The alternative to that is remove the rectifier tube and look on the internet for the same style of light bulb, I don't know which you have (Probably Bayonet).
Look for Led's with the same base. They are 6.3 volts AC type. Caution: Some Led's are DC only.
look for bulb world on the internet or similar store.  I have a Marantz that uses a fuse style light bulb which are 8 volts ac. But I was able to find the same style but a LED replacement.
Remove the tubes, but store them in the back of the cabinet.
The transformer on the secondary side has 2 blue wires that are for the tubes filaments and pilot lights that supply the 6.3 Volts ac. If you decide to wire them to.
I hope you know what your doing as you haven't explained what level of knowledge you have about electronics or radio repairs. You are dealing with lethal voltages. So do it at your own risk.

Hope this helps

Thank you. I saw your video. My RCA is just like that but has no bulge in the grill.
Do you think there a way I can bypass the amp just to light up the dial without the buzz?

No you cannot use that speaker as it dosn't have a permanent magnetic speaker. I can only work if the power is on.
The Buzz you hear means the filter capacitors are bad. If you leave it running you will destroy the power transformer but tubes  and other components as well. If you don't know anything about radio repairs then see if you can find an Amateur Radio or local radio collector club to assist you in repairs.

That radio has a very good amplifier (mono only) where you could use it for a phono player, MP3 player if repaired. It has very good potential.

Here's a link I think you might enjoy watching to understand how to do repairs.

Hello Antique Radio Lovers,

Thanks for letting me join the group!

I just bought a beautiful RCA 110K-2. It powers up but then makes a loud buzz. That`s OK. I don`t need the radio to work. I just want to turn it on to see the dial light up without the buzzing. Can I bypass the amp?

Also I was wondering if I can run a wire from my modern stereo to the speaker of the RCA.

Any suggestions?

Thank you
