1930 census

Thanks HT, I live a little south of Rome, Ga. We go to Dalton every once in a while.

I've been in and around Dalton, so I imagine that in 1930 it would be a real feat to pick up a station unless you lived on a hilltop or had a really inpressive longwire strung up a hillside! Incedentally, keep an eye on a shop called 'The Junkman's Son' in Dalton. I'd been there a few times years ago and there was never a lack of something interesting.

I was doing a little work on my family tree, and I noticed on the 1930 census there was a box to check if you owned a "radio set". Needless to say there were not to many boxes checked in rural 1930 North Georgia!
