Finished off the zooop, yum. Still kickin affraid
Still have a lot of files to sort and delete though.
I have two external Hard drives and I'm going to try and co-ordinate them to eliminate duplicate files. I re-downloaded a number of big files just to be sure. All radio stuff.
----------------
I may have a chance of getting a Tube Tester, I can make a dollar offer or offer something in trade.
Its a Weston 981 in a metal case. I haven't seen it, was going to be taken to the swap meet. I would rather trade than give money, (I have seen the EBay prices affraid ) so I will offer a either a handheld trunking scanner and if that doesn't get a byte then a 2 Meter Handheld Transciever, I also have a tiny chart recorder made by Amprobe I might offer.
------------------------
Also I did see a Zenith 500H Transistor portable that has about 5 hours, before the bidding is done. It needs repairs or for parts. Here's hoping I'm the claimant, probably not with all the snipe-ing though. (I never come out on top with that model) Sad

Hi cliff,

I see a bit of slow down on a few other forums I belong to as well. I imagine some folks are still in recovery mode from the holiday season. Very Happy

I've slowed down a bit due to my main computer's 6 month old hard drive deciding to die on me. Mad Still waiting for the warranty replacement to come so I can put it back together.

Luckily, I have a program that does my backups automatically during the night, so I only lost a days work at worst.

Cheers for now, Bob

I have been watching our activity, and not much in the way of tech stuff, but I will be adding more stuff as far as links and looking for unique Ideas. I have a Mallory manual that says there are special designed caps (electrolytic) that will work in reducing surge current-voltage, they are special and hard to find nowadays.
I will copy that when I get a chance and post. Wink

I sitting here, waiting on my crockpot to finish cooking up some homemade soup. So I been cleaning up my files whilst waiting.
