| To our Forum Members and Visitors! Merry Christmas To each and everyone of you. A time to reflect on all the Blessings we Have. I think of How we have gone through Hard times growing up and to now understand the meaning of Christmas, of giving. It brings Joy to the giver and recipient alike. The true value of Christmas isn't in its Hidden commercialism, but in Family, friends and strangers. Each Sip of Wassail, each munch on a cookie, the feast set on the table, the presents under the tree. All bring warmth and remembrance's. Decorations, smells of a kitchen, the laughter and squeals of delighted children, Snow Men, snowball fights, seeing the Lit Christmas trees and wreaths, The Nativity, Angels proclaiming the Christ, Pageants, and Holiday parties, all point to one primary thing. To bring Hope for all of mankind. Rejoice for Emmanuel has come to save. Rejoice all of Israel and the world. JOY TO THE WORLD [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] _________________ I'm a Science Thinker, Radio Tinkerer, and all around good guy. Just ask Me!

| As tired as we are of all this rain we've been getting over the last month, we are eternally grateful that it hasn't been in the form of snow for sure. Yesterday's storm was a tad rough though. Heavy winds with gusts up to 140 kilometers per hour. (that's about 87 mph for you folks south of the border), and up to 130 mm of rain. (just over 5 inches) Lots of power outages, heavy lightning in some places too. We're definitely glad it's over! Bob |

| Hi Bob! I'll becha our rain here is wetter than yours! Yesterday at our house we had over 3.65 " The State has actually gotten its act together this year in co-operating with cities in flood control. We have a La Nina weather pattern that is predicted to bring heavy snow this year, way more than normal. Right now we have what is called the Pineapple Express from the tropics. When it meets with the Canadian and Alaskan cold troughs, its called magic. Cause around here we have wet snow and lotsa ice on the roads. Being a very Hilly area, we get a lot of drivers who don't know how to drive GRRRRR. We also have a lot of windstorms infact for the second night in a row we have had thunderstorms which is unusual especially in December's. About 15 years ago we had winds that took out 13 of our 100 foot tall evergreen trees, it sounded like a freight train coming though the Hill tops, normally we we get winds its from 35-65 mph. When it comes from Alaska-Canada it can be 65-95 mph. We have exceeded our average rainfall this year by over 10" I'm getting ready for the Snow when it hits this year, I bought a second generator and have a gas free standing wood style heater just in case. I called our propane company and told them to come and get their rented tank. They wondered why. Asked was it something they could do? or was it price, I told them its price, they said well maybe I could talk to a manager, I said no, you should have been more competitive, and not wait till customers quit. They were charging $ 3.75 a gallon, I am now going to get from another source for $ 2.10 a gallon. Gaurenteed price till July when new rates are set. So I decided to buy my own tank, in case, because if your renting a tank no other competitor will fill it. so this way I have to come up with an additional $600 for the tank, but no more being stuck with one company and being locked into thier price. But wont get it till December 30th. Oh Oh I hope the Snow stays away till then. MERRY CHRISTMAS My daughters family is going to celebrate Christmas with a Jesus Birthday Cake. _________________ I'm a Science Thinker, Radio Tinkerer, and all around good guy. Just ask Me!
