That would've been my guess.  I was listening to the English service on Radio Havana Cuba last evening, and they reported a QSL from Germany.

I've noticed a lot more CW and HF SSB traffic while tuning about through the dial on my old shortwave.  Much more than I've heard in the last year.  Any particular reason?
