I mis-spoke on the Mitchell.  I have it identified, since the information is printed on the back.  The Mason is unidentified.  I have nothing on the Mason either in my Riders nor my Beitman's.  Anybody have a clue?

I did it!  Thanks, Cliff, for the excellent tutorial.

Anybody else have an orphan or two to share?

I have another orphan, a Cameo.  It is a robust performer for a five-tube clock radio.  This radio has the late tube lineup-32ET5, 36AM3B, 18FY6, 18FW6, 18FX6.  This radio is made in Columbus, Indiana.  The tubes are all Arvin branded.  Arvin is also made in Columbus, Indiana.  Could Cameo have been built by Arvin, perhaps as a store brand?

Would anybody be interested in orphan radios?  No Philco, RCA or Zenith.  Oddball items that maybe others are not familiar with.

I have a little unidentified model number Mitchell.  A little white plastic four tube set.  It exhibits typical four tube performance.  A REALLY long external antenna is a benefit to this little set.  It looks to me like it could be called an Admiral clone.  I'd guess late 1950's as the age of this thing.

Then I have a Mason.  Also unidentified as to model number.  It is a circa 1946 six tube bakelite cabinet table radio.  With the exception of its speaker voice coil rubbing and making noise, it is a good performer.  It has an RF amplifier, which aids performance in my fringe area.  It has a bakelite cabinet.  Mine is missing the caver over the dial and the back.  The bakelite is dull, so my plan is for a hotrod paint job.  I bought this for a parts set, but it works so well, I decided to save it and do something creative.

Again, pictures forthcoming when I learn how to post them.  Anybody else have an orphan set they would care to share?
