I got sidetracked on my response and what Frank said is what I too say. Are you sure it's a 50HC5? You may have reversed two letters and the last number is a 6 so it's rather a 50CH6

Are you sure its not a 50-E-H5? They are not cross compatible with each other. I have never heard of a 50CH5.

Hello! I have a chassis that had a 50CH5 audio tube, the chassis calls for the 50C5 audio tube, can anyone tell me what the difference is between these two tubes? Thank you kindly
