You must also watch out for know-it-alls--no humor implied!

Murphy relates to the Laws He invented, If any thing can go wrong it will

Wanna bees are those who think they can fix radios but have no education or training in actual radio repairs and try to make people think they are technicians or sadly so called engineers.

Working putzers, people that work on radios, that don't know what there doing, but accidently getting them to work. just like golfers, they putz just to keep busy.

Gremlins are cause accidents, or are waiting to happen because the person has no common sense on being safe and has to blame anything such as a gremlin.

Just a little humor passed on by me wryly. lol!

Who/what is "Murphy"? What do "gremlins" do that we must watch out for? Who/what are "wanna bees working putzers"? From what language do these strange terms originate? Please clarify; thank you.

We collect, we buy, we repair, we offer solutions, to all that visit here, and also have fun too.
Yer gotta watch out for those gremlins, and radios from wanna bees working putzers, and even Murphy, who bodes over our shoulders whilst we work and repair the difficult, and just take longer to correct the impossible. Suspect Very Happy Very Happy

Hi Guys, i guess if a radio is older than me its Antique for sure, i have sets that date from 1932, still working and restored, i like to collect the odd looking sets, the neglected sets, even got at sets that some Gremlin fiddled with, eg the phantom I.F tweeker, the one who re-desighn,s the circuit to his own layout, and it never works. Rolling Eyes still that,s what makes this Hobby interesting, remember we never own, we are the Custodians.....regards.....Alan. cheers
