Heres a Blog that you may find informative and its run by Dave Jones ( could be a relative, cause he's real smart, HONEST)

He also test a lot of electronics, swears a bit, and gives test results on quality. You can also see Him on Youtube.
I enjoy watching Him and His expressions. What a good series of several Hundred topics, He also has a mailbag section.

Here's another video site of electronics. His Name is Allen, His Ham call sign is W2AEW, He give very good samples on Paper of what He is calculating and the processes that He uses, A lot of excellent Teaching. His link follows.

His name is Colin Mitchel. Click on the Link below and find a lot of fascinating tutorials for the just starting out enthusiast, to the advance technician, and not hard to follow and uses little math only to explain theory with graphic examples. I was fascinated by His Teaching. He does sell His Books and Kits, Enjoy.
