There is one of the disappearing guns shown on the pix of the fortifications at Ft Casey on Whidbey Is.
Sans breech block. Its sitting in Manila Harbor someplace.
The gun is really shrapnel scarred too.
At least it was when I was working there in summer break in high school for State Parks.

This is a Restored WW2 Searchlight and Its controls that were designed to Move in Synch with The Operator using Binoculars. It was designed so the Spotter operator wouldn't be blinded while using the Light during night operations.

Good Info and interesting Video to Watch.

I was Looking for Fort MacArthur on Google Maps, because I was on base there for 3 days playing Weekend Warrior (R.O.T.C) while in High School back in 1960-62.

Browse the Web pages, there is display of Military Radios, and showing moving and running a generator.
